Dynamic imaging (frame rate: 15 Hz) of an ex vivo porcine carotid artery fixed to a rigid backing. Using a syringe filled with water, the artery was manually pressurised and released thrice (pressure onset occurs at times t = 3, 5 and 7 s). The experimental set-up can be seen in Fig. 5 of the main manuscript, and each image was acquired, reconstructed and displayed in real-time. The video is displayed at a frame rate matching that of the acquisition.
