The movie shows three deconvolved image stacks of a mitochondrium stained cell (0 deg, 45 deg and 90 deg) and one that is Fourier-fused using 4 orientations (0, 45, 90 and 135 degs). The 0 deg deconvolved stack is used as reference for the alignment procedure, and the 45 deg and 90 deg stacks, as shown here, are already aligned to it. The elongated features on the deconvolved stacks mark the direction of the optical axis of that particular recording. The colored arrows correspond to the coordinate axes shown on Figure 1b.
